Advanced Operational Terminology Course

            Advanced Operational Terminology Course was conducted between 09-20 November 2009 at Air Defence School/İzmir. The aim of the course is to prepare officers for services to instruct aircrew, controllers and operators from NATO and Partner Nations in advanced air terminolgy, procedures and the use of operational expressions to allow NATO and Partner aircraft to fly together in a combined PSO environment or any future multinational air operation or exercise and to provide information about complex land-air operations such as NATO Rapid Deployable Forces (NRF), Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) and Crisis Response Operations (RO).

 

            Totally 17 participants from NATO (Turkey), Partnership for Peace (Kazakhstan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia, Ukraine, Austria, Belarus), MD (Jordan, Tunusia) countries attended the course.

 

            The instructor team consisted of 9 instructors from Turkish Air Forces.
