Land Operational Terminology Course

            Land Operational Terminology Course was conducted between 26 November-06 October 2009 at PfP Training Center / Ankara. The aim of the course is; to teach land based operations terminology, familiarize with basic military terms, vocabulary, expression and abbreviations which are used in NATO and Peace Support Operations (PSO) as well as in NATO standard corresponding and voice communication procedures in PSOs by focusing on the interoperability requirements. 

            Totally 23 participants from NATO (Turkey), Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Montenegro, Kyrygysyztan, Macedonia and Ukraine) and Mediterranean Dialogue (Algeria, Jordan) countries attended the course.

            The instructor team consisted of 13 instructors from Turkish General Staff and Turkish Land Forces.
