Air Operational Terminology Course 

    Air Operational Terminology Course  was conducted between 29 November-10 December 2010 at Air Defence School/İzmir. The aim of the course is to instruct partner and NATO aircrew, controllers and operators in terminolgy, procedures and the use of operational expressions to allow NATO and Partner aircraft to fly together in a combined PSO environment or any future multinational air operation or exercise.

Totally 11 participants from 2 NATO (Turkey 2, Poland 3), 3 Partnership for Peace (Kazakhstan 2, Belarus 2, Azerbaijan 1), 1 MD (Algeria 2) countries attended the course.

The instructor team consisted of 6 instructors from Turkish Air Forces, NATO CC-Air HQ., and General Directorate of State Airports Authority of Turkey.
