The Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) Course
LOAC Course was conducted between 15-26 March 2010 at PfP Training Center / Ankara. The aim of the course is to provide military or civilian personnel an appropriate balance of academic and practical knowledge in the principal areas of international law relating to the Law of Armed Conflict and to enable participants to acquire ability and knowledge within the broad field of Law of Armed Conflict.
Totally 86 participants from; NATO (Turkey, Albania, France, Romania), Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan, Belarus, BIH, Georgia, Kazakhıstan, Kyrgyzstan, Makedonya, Turkmenistan, Ukraine), MD (Egypt, Morocco, Jordan), ICI (Qatar) and Other UN Member (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Korea, Iraq) countries attended the course.
The instructor team consisted of 14 instructors from Turkish Gendarmerie General Command, Turkish Land Forces, General Staff Law Department, Turkish PfP TC, UNHCR, ICRC, NATO School, Mod of IRELAND, JFC Brunssum.
