The Law of Armed Conflict Course

 

 The Law of Armed Conflict (LoAC) Course was conducted between 01-12 November 2010 at PfP Training Center / Ankara. The aim of the course is to provide military and civilian personnel an appropriate balance of academic and practical knowledge in the principal areas of international law relating to the Law of Armed Conflict (LoAC) and to enable participants to acquire ability and knowledge on the broad field of the Law of Armed Conflict.

 

 Totally 36 participants from NATO (Albania, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey), Partnership for Peace (Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Georgia, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Sweden, Tajikisitan), MD (Jordan, Tunisia) and Other (UN) (Bangladesh, Kosovo,) countries attended the course.

    

 The instructor team consisted of 13 instructors from Başkent University, Irish National University, NATO School, NATO Brunssum Joint Force Command , International Committee of the Red Cross( Switzerland), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Turkish General Staff Judge Advocate Generals, Turkish Army, Turkish PfP Training Center and Center of Excellence Defense Against Terrorism.
