Strategic Communication Course

Strategic Communication Course was conducted between 08-12 March 2010 at PfP Training Center /Ankara. Course was conducted with academic support of The Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies, Washington, D.C. The aim of the course is to provide related personnel with the principles of systematic planning and realization of information flow, communication and media development in concert with political and military actions to advance NATO’s aims through the co-ordinated, appropriate use of Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Information Operations.

 

     

 

 Totally 50 participants from NATO (Turkey, France), Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhistan, Macedonia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzistan, Belarus, Moldova), MD (Algeria, Jordan, Egypt), ICI (United Arab Emirates), UN (Bangladesh, Ireland, Kosovo) countries attended the course.

 

   

 The instructor team consisted of 15 instructors from The Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies, Washington, D.C., Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, Washington, D.C., NATO Public Diplomacy Division, NATO Strategic Communication Department, Baskent University, Ankara University, Kadir Has University, Isık University and selected departments of Turkish Armed Forces.
