Combating Organized Crimes Course
Combating Organized Crimes Course was conducted between 06-17 April 2009 at Gendarmerie Schools Command on behalf of PfP Training Center / Ankara. The aim of the course is to provide practical information concerning organized crime, criminal activities and international smuggling to the participants with appropriate balance between global values of fairness and human rights in order to ensure that global community is better protected.
Totally 23 participants from 4 NATO (Czech Republic 1, Norway 1, Slovenia 1, Turkey 3), 8 Partnership for Peace (Bosnia Herzegovina 1, Croatia 1, Georgia 1, Kyrgyzstan 1, Macedonia 2, Serbia 1, Turkmenistan 1, Ukraine 1) and 3 Mediterranean Dialogue (Algeria 1, Egypt 1, Tunisia 1) and 2 Other UN Member (Afghanistan 1, Oman 1) countries attended the course.
The instructor team consisted of 15 instructors from Turkish General Staff (3), Gendarmerie General Command (6), Turkish Police Enforcement (2), Middle East Technical University (1), Turkish Ministry of Justice (1), UN (1) and UNHCR (1).
