Advanced Air Operational Terminology (AAOT) Course

 

     AAOT Course was conducted between 27 April - 08 May 2009 at Air Services Schools and Technical Training Center / Gaziemir-İzmir The aim of the course is to instruct aircrew, controllers and operators from NATO and Partner Nations in advanced air terminology, procedures and the use of operational expressions to allow NATO and Partner aircraft to fly together in a combined PSO environment or any future multinational air operation or exercise and to provide information about complex land-air operations such as NATO Rapid Deployable Forces (NRF), Combined Joint Task Forces (CJTF) and Crisis Response Operations (CRO).

 

             

     Totally 15 participants from 4 NATO (Turkey 4), 7 Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan 2, Belarus 2, Georgia 1, Kazakhstan 1, and Macedonia 1) and 4 Mediterranean Dialogue (Algeria 1, Egypt 1, Jordan 2) countries attended the course.

 

    

        The instructor team consisted of 9 instructors from Turkish Air Force.
