Air Operational Terminology (AOT) Course

     AOT Course was conducted between 29 June - 10 July 2009 at Air Services Schools and Technical Training Center / Gaziemir-İzmir The aim of the course is to instruct partner and NATO aircrew, controllers and operators in terminology, procedures and the use of operational expressions to allow NATO and Partner aircraft to fly together in a combined Peace Support Operation or any future multinational air operation or exercise.

     Totally 11 participants from 3 NATO (Turkey 3), 4 Partnership for Peace (Belarus 1, Georgia 2, Serbia 1) and 5 Mediterranean Dialogue (Algeria 2, Egypt 1, Jordan 2) countries attended the course.

        The instructor team consisted of 7 instructors from Turkish Air Force (4), General Directorate of State Airports Authority of Turkey (3).
