Simulator Supported Anti-Surface Missile Defense and Anti-Asymmetric Warfare Course

Simulator Supported Anti-Surface Missile Defense and Anti-Asymmetric Warfare Course was conducted between 04-08 May 2009 at Yıldızlar Naval Surface Training Center Konca/Kocaeli. The aim of the course is to train personnel in Anti-Surface Missile Defence (ASMD) reactions and Anti-Asymmetric Warfare principals.

Totally 13 participants from 1 NATO (Turkey 5), 4 Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan 1, Bosnia Herzegovina 1, Georgia 2, Turkmenistan 1) and 1 Mediterranean Dialogue (Egypt 1), 1 ICI (United Arab Emirates 1) and 1 other UN (Bangladesh 1) countries attended the course.

 The instructor team consisted of 6 instructors from Turkish Naval Forces (5) and Marmara University (1 Ass.Prof) .
