Tactical Civil Military Cooperation Course
Tactical Civil Military Cooperation Course was conducted between 23 March-03 April at Turkish PfP Training Center/Ankara. The aim of the course is to enable NATO/PfP/Mediterranean Dialogue/ICI and Other UN Member Countries’ officers/senior NCOs and civilians from IOs/NCOs to conduct CIMIC activities at tactical level and to examine the developments in NATO’s CIMIC doctrine. The course was conducted according to the curriculum of two week programme, consisting of several lectures, presentations, syndicates and field training exercise.
Totally 24 participants from 2 NATO (Czech Rep. 1 and Turkey 8), 8 Partnership for Peace (Austria 1, Azerbaijan 2, Georgia 2, Kazakhstan 1, Macedonia 2, Moldova 1, Serbia 1 and Ukraine 1), 1 Mediterranean Dialogue (Egypt 1) and ICI (UAE 3) Countries attended the course.
The instructor team consisted of 15 instructors from CIMIC Group South 1, Norway 1, The Netherlands 1, Turkey 8, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) 1, International Office of Migration (IOM) 1, Turkish Red Crescent Society 1 and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) 1.
