Humanitarian Relief Operations in Disasters Course

Humanitarian Relief Operations in Disasters Course was conducted between 09-13 March 2009 at Army Engineering School& Training Center Narlıdere / İzmir. The aim of the course is to provide the basic information at the level of planning and execution of humanitarian relief operations. 

Totally 31 participants from 4 NATO (Czech Republic 2, Greece 1, Portugal 1, Turkey 7), 10 Partnership for Peace (Austria 1, Azerbaijan 1, Bosnia Herzegovina 2, Croatia 1, Kazakhstan 2, Kyrgyzstan 2, Macedonia 1, Moldova 2, Serbia 1, Ukraine 2) and 2 Mediterranean Dialogue (Egypt 1, Tunisia 1) and 2 other UN  (Afghanistan 1, Bangladesh 1) countries attended the course.

The instructor team consisted of 9 instructors from Turkish Armed Forces (6), Turkish Red Crescent (1) and Bosnia Herzegovina PSO Training Center (1).
