Theatre Airspace Control and Management Course

     Theatre Airspace Control and Management Course was conducted between 16-27 March 2009 at Air Tehnical Schools Command /İzmir. The aim of the course is to teach the required coordination and cooperation fundamentals and procedures on airspace management for validation of a systematic and safe joint and/or combined NATO operations.

     Totally 25 participants from 4 NATO (Czech Republic 1, Germany 1, Spain 1, Turkey 2), 10 Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan 2, Bosnia Herzegovina 1, Croatia 1, Georgia 2, Kyrgyzstan 1, Moldova 1, Macedonia 2, Sweden 2, Turkmenistan 1, Ukraine 1), 2 Mediterranean Dialogue (Egypt 1, Jordan 1), 1 ICI (UAE 3) and 1 Other UN Member (Bangladesh 1) countries attended the course.

        The instructor team consisted of 4 instructors from Turkey (4).
