Land Operational Terminology Course

            Land Operational Terminology Course was conducted between 31 January –11 February 2011 at PfP Training Center / Ankara. The aim of the course is; to teach land based operations terminology, familiarize with basic military terms, vocabulary, expression and abbreviations which are used in NATO and Peace Support Operations (PSO) as well as in NATO standard corresponding and voice communication procedures in PSOs by focusing on the interoperability requirements. 

            Totally 26 participants from NATO (Turkey), Partnership for Peace (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine) and Mediterranean Dialogue (Egypt, Jordan), Bangladesh, Kosovo countries attended the course.

            The instructor team consisted of 12 instructors from Turkish General Staff and Turkish Land Forces, Turkish Air Forces and Ministry of Defence.
